Randolph Communications Donates to Seven Local Food Banks

Randolph Communications held their sixth annual Food Harvest Drive during the months of October and November, collecting non-perishable food items at their two office locations located in Asheboro and Liberty. All donations that were received for the Food Harvest Drive were matched by Randolph Communications, which totaled 3,172 non-perishable items. All items were donated to seven local food banks in the areas they serve. Read more
The new 472 Area code is coming to North Carolina 910 area code region
October 7, 2022
To ensure a continuing supply of new telephone numbers, the North Carolina Utilities Commission has approved an all-services area code overlay for the 910 area code region, which serves southeastern North Carolina including the cities of Fayetteville, Jacksonville, Lumberton, Wilmington, and the military installation of Fort Bragg, within the counties of Cumberland, Onslow, Robeson, and New Hanover. The new 472 area code will serve the same geographic area currently served by the existing 910 area code. Read more

The High Falls and Northern Moore County communities are the second area within the Randolph Communications cooperative exchanges they serve to receive this recognition. SRC is a national network of communities powered by innovative rural broadband providers that are advancing towards a future-proof sustainable infrastructure.
